Wood River, DCB, and Shelton/Gibbon were the final three of the five teams of the Class C Legion Juniors District Six Tournament staged at Gibbon last week.
The Gibbon Red Kid Pitch baseball team placed second in a recent tournament which finished up on June 28.
The DCB Seniors turned a hectic schedule of five games in nine days into a favorable experience by winning four of those outings, one of which was a 10-inning marathon.
