Larry Bombeck, age 84, of Grand Island, died Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at CHI Health – Bergan Mercy, Omaha. Services were held Tuesday, September 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Island. Reverend Adam Snoberger officiated. Burial followed at the Kenesaw Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Veda Thomsen, age 99, of Kearney, formerly of Gibbon, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Wel-Life Assisted Living in Kearney. Her service will be held this Saturday, August 2, at the Gibbon Baptist Church, at 10:30 a.m.
