Ronnie Brayton

Ronnie Eugene Brayton went to sleep until the return of Jesus on March 23, 2025, in Hagerstown, Maryland, with his sister at his side.

A memorial in his honor was held Friday, March 28, 2025, in Boonsboro, Maryland.

Ron was born to Arnold L. Brayton and Beulah M.

(Reeder) Brayton on November 10, 1947, at home in Cairo. His family moved to Shelton where he attended school and graduated in 1966.

Ron loved to travel and a few places he went were Europe, China, India, Mexico and more.

He wore many hats. Ron graduated from Union Adventist College in Lincoln in food management, obtained his registered massage therapist license, and had the title of Master Gardener.

Survivors include his son, Marshall, of Brookings, Oregon; grandson, Elias Kaupang, of Fort Collins, Colorado; granddaughter, Ashlyn Brayton, of Brookings, Oregon; sisters, Karen Lacey, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Sharon Olivo, of Greeley, Colorado; and brother, Leonard Brayton, of Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Beulah Brayton; nephew, David Lacey; brothers-in-law, Larry Lacey and Rudy Olivo; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.
