Ramona worked in a local doctor’s office until she married Dale Hadenfeldt on October 17, 1946. Together they managed a farm in Alda for 11 years while raising their three boys. She was known for her generous cooking skills when feeding the hired hands on the farm.

In 1959 the family moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado, where Ramona worked at the Colorado State University registrar’s office until she retired after 17 1⁄2 years. She spent years as a volunteer with Nightwalker and enjoyed indulging in her love of gardening and her kindhearted feeding of the birds, foxes, and ducks in her front yard.

She is survived by her loving family of three sons, Dennis, Vaughn and Gary; her daughter-in-law, Marcia; and granddaughter, Dessa; as well as nephews and nieces who will all miss her dearly.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her parents; brother, Franklin; and sisters, Cheryl and Merna.
