Norma Jean Bosle

Norma Jean Bosle, age 90, of Grand Island, formerly of Hastings, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island.

Services were held Wednesday, November 6, at Peace Lutheran Church, Ninth and California in Hastings. Private burial will be at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Peace Lutheran Church in Hastings. Murray Wilson Funeral Directing is in charge of her arrangements.

Norma Jean was born to Max and Dorothy (Tjaden) Koepp on March 2, 1934. She married Lyman Bosle on August 12, 1951, at the Lutheran Church in Wood River. To this union four children were born, David, Steve, Mark, and Lisa.

Norma Jean was a talented lady. She excelled in music, sewing, crafts, and dancing.

She volunteered as a Pink Lady for many years at Mary Lanning Hospital. She enjoyed line dancing with her friends.

She and her special friend Ken Shafer made it to most of the dances around central Nebraska.

She is survived by her son, Steven and wife, Judy; son, Mark and wife, Nancy; grandsons, Brad and wife, Bobbie, of Glenvil, Zach and wife, Rachel, and Sam, all of Hastings; two great-grandchildren, Julian and Vivian Bosle, of Hastings; brother, Robert Koepp, of Grand Island; sisters in-law, Marian Koepp, of Grand Island, Genevieve Wietjes, of Kearney, Mavis Reiter, of Wood River, and Sharon Bosle, of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Dorothy Koepp; her husband, Lyman; son, David; and daughter, Lisa Hoggins.
