Marcia Kay Ressler

Marcia Kay (Codner) Ressler, age 78, of Louisville, Colorado, passed away on October 18, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service was held at Flatirons Community Church on Monday, October 24, and was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in a private ceremony with her family.

Marcia was born in Kearney onApril 13, 1944. She grew up with her parents as one of five siblings in Gibbon. On May 31, 1974, Marcia married Gregory Ressler and they began their 48 year journey together moving first to Arizona, and then on to Colorado.

Greg brought two children into their marriage, Lori and Jennifer. Greg and Marcia

went on to have two additional children, Nicole and Chris.

While Marcia enjoyed playing golf, traveling, volunteering for P.E.O. International and taking part in Bible study, she will be best remembered as a faithful servant to the Lord and a strong prayer warrior. Her greatest joy was the love she had for her family, especially her 13 grandchildren. Marcia was a wonderful friend and mentor to many and will live on in all of the lives that she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gregory Ressler; her children, Nicole (Malachi O’Neill), Christopher Ressler (Farrah Cox), Lori (Keith Jones), and Jennifer (Devin McLean); 13 grandchildren, Nathan Aragon (Meridyth), Bri Jones, Kaitlyn Gallegos, Hannah O’Neill, Tate McLean, Logan Jones, Troy McLean, Isaac O’Neill, Lyla Garcia, Josh O’Neill, Zeke Ressler, Vander Ressler; first great-grandchild, Camilla Aragon; brother, Steven Codner (Sharon); and sister, Laurie (Mike Schneider).

Marcia was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille (Snyder) Codner; father, Milton Codner; sister, Carolyn (Terry Loschen); and brother, Harry Dean Codner.
