James “Jim” C. Nelson, age 84, of Cairo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 12, 2023, at CHI Health - St. Francis in Grand Island.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Nysted. Inurnment will be in the Loup Fork Cemetery in Boelus. Pastor Bob Carlson will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested to the Dannebrog/Boelus Rescue and Fire Department, Cairo QRT, or the Heartland Lutheran High School Tuition Assistance Program. A complete obituary will appear in next week’s Clipper.
