Helga Sealing
Helga Sealing, age 88, of Shelton, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, at the Shelton United Methodist Church. Interment will be held at the Shelton Cemetery at a later date.

Helga was born October 8, 1937, in Germany to Walter and Elizabeth Reiber. She was raised in Germany and later met James Case while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They married and started their life in the United States. Helga began her career as a waitress at Sportsman’s shortly after, and continued until its closure in 2020. Helga was united in marriage to Gaylord Sealing and the couple enjoyed 33 years of marriage together.
Helga enjoyed bird watching, her cat, and spending time with her grandson.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Trish Case, of Gibbon; grandchildren, Treston Case, of Gibbon, and Katrina Case, of Greensboro, North Carolina; great-grandchild, Jay’Ce Blue; sister, Doris Miller, of Germany; as well as many extended family members and special friends, Terri Janicek and Kim Kempt.
Helga was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her niece.
