Eloise Thatcher

Eloise Thatcher joined her husband (55 years) Bruce, son Danny, daughter Carol, and granddaughter Nikki in eternity on October 7, 2022.

Eloise was born and raised in Gibbon, to parents Guy and Ethel (Hough) Donaldson with brother Wilbur. She graduated from Gibbon High School in 1946 and married Bruce Thatcher in 1948. They began their journey traveling throughout the western United States, settling in Orcutt, California, in 1975.

Eloise loved photography and took many photos (framing some) of their extensive travels. She enjoyed word and jigsaw puzzles and playing pinochle, Bingo, and Bunco with friends in her later years.

Eloise was proud of her Nebraska roots and continued her subscription to The Shelton Clipper her entire life. Her remains will be sent to her hometown of Gibbon.
