Zachary Ewoldt

Zachary Ewoldt, age 27, of Broken Bow, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.

Zach was born July 22, 1998, in Kearney to Jon and Marcia (Turek) Ewoldt. He was raised in Gibbon and attended Gibbon High School. He later attended Central Community College in Hastings. Zach was employed as a Wind Technician. On February 2, 2022, he was united in marriage to Morgen Dircksen in Broken Bow. The marriage was blessed with two children.

Zach was a man of the land, farming and helping out where he could. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic and providing for his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Morgen Ewoldt, of Broken Bow; children, Addisen and Wesley Ewoldt, of Broken Bow; parents, Jon (Maggie) Ewoldt, of Gibbon, and Marcia Ewoldt and fiancé, Jerry Binfield, of Grand Island; siblings, Wade Ewoldt, Destyne Ewoldt, Charles Ewoldt, Bailey Matson and Sidney Ewoldt and step brother, Levi Christensen; and grandparents, Carolyn and Bryce Ewoldt and Carol Turek.

Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Turek.
