Small agenda greets Shelton Village Board of Trustees at August meeting

The Shelton Village Board of Trustees met on Thursday, August 12, and worked through a small, late summer agenda.
After hearing department reports and approving the consent agenda, the board approved three purchases for the Shelton Volunteer Fire Department, including radios from Platte Valley Communications, at a cost of $8,474.43 with the village contributing $3,000 to the purchase. Fire Chief Jason Wiehn said the department would ask the rural fire board to purchase an additional three radios.
