Powells to lead FunFest parade

Bryan and Susie Powell, of Wood River, will serve as 2022 grand marshals for the Fun-Fest Parade this year. Wood River FunFest will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 19, 20 and 21.

The nomination letter for the Powells said, “I nominate Bryan and Susie Powell. They are both such huge supporters of Wood River. You can see them both in the stands cheering on the youth even though they do not have grandkids playing. They support and donate to the school activities. Susie is in the community helping with Celebrate Wood River and the Wood River Methodist Church.”
