Five new faces join GPS staff

The new school year at Gibbon Public School began with five new faces to greet students. Karmynn Andrews, Tabitha Burmood, Chelsea Schlecht, Morgan Wadkins-Meyer, and Abigail Heller join the staff for the 2022-23 school year.
“When I was in high school, Jackie Hoffmeister was my cheer coach,” began new sixth through twelfth grade band and seventh and eighth grade choir teacher Morgan Wadkins- Meyer of being named assistant cheerleading coach for her first year of teaching. “I went on and cheered for four years at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and now I get the chance to coach Gibbon’s cheer team with my former coach.” Ms. Wadkins-Meyer will also serve as junior high volleyball coach.
