Members of Wood River American Legion Post #314 were recognized for 50 years of continuous membership at the regular monthly steak feed held on Tuesday, May 21.
Lyle and Betty Stearley are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 28, 1949, in Kearney. The Stearleys have lived their entire lives in Shelton.
In honor of Melvin and Sandy Solomon’s 50th anniversary, an open house for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 9, at the Shelton Community Room in Shelton from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
