A card shower has been requested in honor of the 60th wedding anniversary of Jim and Sharon Riley. Jim Riley and Sharon Lonowski were married on October 28, 1961, in Loup City. Their family includes Jim and Karen Riley, Julie Padgett, Linda Riley, and Lisa and Nick Zwiebel. The couple has nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Cards can be sent to 8069 S. Bockstadters to celebrate anniversary

The family of Ron and Kay Bockstadter are requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary on October 29. Cards can be sent to 15090 W. Guenther Rd., Wood River, NE 68883. Ron Bockstadter and Kay Fairbanks were married during an ice storm at First Methodist Church in Hastings, but that didn’t deter the wedding. Over the 50 years, a family grew. Jenny and her husband, Andy, live in the Kansas City area. They have two children, Abby and Adam. Chad and his wife, Lucy, live in the Saint Louis area with their two children, Tori and Zoe. Ron and Kay love spending time with all of them and are willing to drive to many grandkid sporting events. The Missouri family will be returning to Nebraska to help Ron and Kay celebrate a few weeks after their actual anniversary.
