The track, boys golf and boys and girls soccer season are all poised to get underway across Clipper Country in the coming weeks.
Ten teams, including the team from Shelton, competed in the Shelton Junior High Quiz Bowl held at the school on Wednesday, March 4.
The Gibbon speech team journeyed to the LouPlatte Conference meet on February 19 at Ord. The team placed fourth overall with one conference champion and several members earning medals.
The Shelton speech team traveled to Lawrence-Nelson on Wednesday, February 26, for the annual Twin Valley Conference meet, where they placed fourth as a team, overall.
About 632 students from 24 high schools, including Shelton, participated in ACTIONS Day on March 11 at Central Community College-Hastings.
