Incoming Wood River preschool and kindergarten student registration is scheduled to be held this coming Monday and Tuesday, April 15 and 16, at Wood River Elementary.
The Wood River bloodmobile is set to be held on Tuesday, April 16, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., sponsored by the Wood River Methodist Church.
The Celebrate Wood River Saturday Friendship Gathering scheduled for April 13, at 9:30 a.m., will feature Michelle Setlik who will be presenting her research of “The David Kaufmann Story.” The presentation will be held at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater in Wood River.
Very chilly, windy late March weather did little to dampen the enthusiasm of those youngsters who descended on Gibbon’s Davis Park on Saturday, March 30, for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Gibbon American Legion Bradley Buck Post #310. Whether hunting sweet treats with friends or a parent, the area children made short work of scooping up the candy throughout the northeast corner of the park.
Lauren Meier, harpist, will perform a Musical Medley this Sunday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater located at 13800 W. Wood River Rd., Wood River. The performance is sponsored by Celebrate Wood River.
