Four double-medalists lead Lady Bulldogs at home meet

Shelton’s Lady Bulldogs finished their home track meet in fourth place Thursday, April 12, thanks in part to the fact that four individuals picked up dual medals in the nine-team meet. Shelton ended with 55 team points in the meet won by Pleasanton’s 121 points. Elm Creek, Central Valley, and Fullerton finished ahead of the Lady Bulldogs, and Kenesaw,

 

Heartland Lutheran, Silver Lake, and Elba trailed the host team. One of the two-medal winners was Kathleen Juhl as she picked up the gold in two events. She set the pace in the 800 with her time of 2:42.36 and won the 1600 in 6:21.50.
