Eagle golfers get three meets in during week; Trejo trims score

In what has been an early-season battle with Mother Nature, Wood River’s Eagle golfers prevailed by playing in three outings last week.

Tuesday, April 2, the Eagles hosted Adams Central in a dual, one that was won by the visitors 169-192. “It was such a great day to get out and golf,” said Coach Jon Kuecker. “This was a tough beginning since Adams Central is one of the tougher opponents we will see all year. I am proud of my varsity guys for holding it together mentally when their rounds fell apart.”
