Centura boys nab runner-up hardware at Ravenna

With 80 of their 145 points scored at the Ravenna Invitational meet coming from field events, the Centura boys doubled the score on third-place Ravenna and finished 19 behind Axtell’s championship total at the meet held Thursday, April 12. Noah Wooden scored 20 of the 30 first-place points by ruling the long jump with a leap of 20’ 2-1/4” and by leading a 1-2-3 Centura finish in the pole vault by clearing an even 14 feet. The second and third places in the vault came after Noah Bruggeman went 13’ 6” and when Willy Packer finished with a height of an even 13 feet.
