Ronald R. Wilcoxson
Ronald Ray Wilcoxson, age 59, of Kearney, passed away Saturday, November 3, at Kearney Regional Hospital. Ron was born on May 5, 1959, in Beloit, Kansas, to Carrol and Henrietta (Fisher) Wilcoxson. Ron graduated from Shelton High School in 1978. After graduating, Ron joined the National Guard. Ron worked at Eaton, Coleman Powermate and Paramac. Ron was self employed at the time of his death. Ron and Diann (Jensen) were married in 1989. They had a daughter, Delsia Lynn and a stepson, Dan. They would later divorce. Ron loved tinkering with anything he could work on. He had such a big heart, helping his family and friends any way he could. Ron loved boating, camping, watching NASCAR races, Husker football and Green Bay Packers. He treasured his time spent with his family and friends. He loved his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His blue eyes and smile could light up a room! Left to treasure Ron are his daughter, Delsia (Darren) Wilcoxson-Kotas, of Kearney; step-son, Dan; grandkids, Serenity and Jaxson, who loved to call him Grandpa Ron and he was so special to both of them; his parents, Carrol and Henrietta (Fisher), of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Vickie (Kent) Plautz, of Shelton, and Brenda (Bret) Bowdish, of Glendale, Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will never forget his love for them! He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and LouAnna Fisher and Harold and Mildred Wilcoxson; and his brothers, Rick in 2000 and Brad, on August 21, 2018.
