Suzanne Moeller

Suzanne Moeller, of Polk City, Iowa, passed away at home January 27, 2024.

Suzanne was cremated and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Rise and Grind in Gibbon.

Suzanne was born in Hastings on January 23, 1965, to Ron and Marilyn Moeller. They resided in Shelton where she graduated from Shelton High School in 1983. She eventually moved to Des Moines, Iowa, working in the restaurant business where she also met her companion of 17 years, Rick Smith.

Suzanne adored and cherished every minute with her four granddaughters. She did everything she could to make sure they were happy and well taken care of. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, simply making people smile and her sense of humor and wittiness.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Alexis Moeller and Miranda Smith; her four granddaughters, Ahva Bales, Ariah Bales, Avery Smith, and Alivia Smith; her mother, Marilyn Moeller; brother, Jody Moeller; sister, Lisa Moeller; as well as many nieces and nephews and other loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ron Moeller, and companion, Rick Smith.
