Wood River Food Pantry awarded grant for renovation expenses

The Wood River Food Pantry recently received a $20,000 grant from the Bud and Gloria Wolbach Foundation. This grant will be used towards renovation expenses as they prepare to move into their new home at Legacy Station (the old Good Samaritan Home). Peters earns BSN Degree from Creighton

MaKenzie Peters, at right, of Wood River, graduated from Creighton University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree, Cum Laude, on August 9, 2023. MaKenzie is the daughter of Steve and Lori Peters, of Wood River, a 2018 Wood River Rural High School alum, and recent graduate of Hastings College. Boudreaus to celebrate 50th anniversary

Spending 50 years married to one person is an accomplishment that deserves to be recognized. Matt and Jessica (Rauert) Huston, of Omaha, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Hayes Ronald. Hayes was born July 12, 2023, at 4:03 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long at birth.
