The Wood River bloodmobile is set to be held this coming Tuesday, April 16, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and is sponsored by the Wood River Methodist Church.
The Hall County Historical Society is bringing its popular cemetery tour to the Cameron Cemetery northwest of Wood River and south of Cairo this spring to benefit the cemetery’s maintenance fund.

Inez Marie Rohrich, age 91, of Wood River, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island with her children by her side.
Loretta Eleanor (Ahrens) Hadlock, age 95, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Emerald Brookside Rehabilitation and Care in Lincoln. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m.
