The Shelton Clipper has been in existence for over 125
years.
The Clipper covers the communities and rural area surrounding Shelton
and Kenesaw. We report on activities around the towns including city
council, social, church and ag related news. Our coverage of the
schools include monthly school board meetings and all the activities
of the elementary and secondary students, in the classroom and the
playing field. Our motto of łOur Town, Our People˛ shows in each
weekly issue with pictures and stories of local people and activities.
The news and advertising deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
Steve Glenn is the current owner/publisher, taking over ownership in
1989.
A
subscription to the Shelton Clipper is $26.00 annually for subscribers
living in Buffalo, Hall, Adams and Kearney counties. For all other
subscribers, the annual cost is $33.00.
