The Shelton Clipper has been in existence for over 131 years.
The Clipper covers the community and rural area surrounding Shelton. We report on activities around the towns including city council, social, church and ag related news. Our coverage of the school includes monthly school board meetings and all the activities of the elementary and secondary students, in the classroom and the playing field. Our motto of "Our Town, Our People" shows in each weekly issue with pictures and stories of local people and activities. The news and advertising deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

The Shelton Clipper is part of Clipper Publishing Inc.

Steve Glenn is the current owner/publisher, taking over ownership in 1989.

A subscription to the Shelton Clipper is $35.00 annually for subscribers living in Buffalo, Hall, Adams and Kearney counties. For all other subscribers, the annual cost is $42.00.

We also offer the Clipper online. Our electronic issues (eSubs) are made available on your computer each week for an annual cost of $35.00, no matter where you live. Be sure to indicate that you would like a eSub so we don’t confuse it with a regular paper subscription.
