The Gibbon Reporter has been in existence for over 119 years. The Reporter covers the community and rural area surrounding Gibbon. We report on activities around the town including city council, social, church and ag related news. Our coverage of the school includes monthly school board meetings and all the activities of the elementary and secondary students, in the classroom and the playing field. Our motto of "Our Town, Our People" shows in each weekly issue with pictures and stories of local people and activities. The news and advertising deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

The Gibbon Reporter is part of Clipper Publishing Inc.

Steve Glenn is the current owner/publisher, taking over ownership in 1989.

A subscription to the Gibbon Reporter is $35.00 annually for subscribers living in Buffalo, Hall, Adams or Kearney Counties. For all other subscribers, the annual cost is $42.00
