Clipper Publishing, Inc. includes the community newspapers of the Gibbon Reporter, Shelton Clipper and Wood River Sunbeam. All three community newspapers are located in central Nebraska, between the tri-cities of Grand Island, Kearney and Hastings, along U.S. Highway 30.

The combined circulation (paid subscribers) of the three community newspapers is approximately 1,800, covering the activities of Gibbon, Wood River and Shelton.

A subscription to the Gibbon Reporter or Shelton Clipper is $35.00 annually for subscribers living in Buffalo, Hall, Adams or Kearney Counties. For all other subscribers, the annual cost is $42.00

A subscription to the Wood River Sunbeam is $35.00 annually for subscribers living in Hall, Howard, Adams and Buffalo counties. For all other subscribers, the annual cost is $42.00.

We also offer each of our newspapers online. Our electronic issues (eSubs) are made available on your computer each week for an annual cost of $35.00, no matter where you live. Be sure to indicate that you would like a eSub so we don’t confuse it with a regular paper subscription.

Each of the three newspapers is a member of the Nebraska Press Association and have been recognized for excellence in newspaper production, design, news and advertising ideas, community promotions and general excellence.

Our community newspaper motto is "Our Town, Our People" and it shows with each weekly issue. We focus on the activities and personalities of our communities.

The news and advertising deadline for each community newspaper is 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
